Throughout 2017, Mark Engle, DM FASAE CAE, along with author and association consultant, Mary Byers, CAE, will lead several sessions of ASAE’s Exceptional Boards: Strengthening the Governance Team.
With events planned in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Scottsdale, AZ, and Charleston, SC, Engle and Byers will facilitate intensive two-day workshops for chief staff executives and their elected officers to strengthen leader relationships and enhance the board’s performance. The workshops cover
- strategies for building a cohesive board
- roles and responsibilities of the chief staff officer and the board
creating an effective chief staff executive/board chair relationship- developing a leadership team action plan.
