Bruce Hammond, CAE
Bruce Hammond, CAE, executive director of the (ACAAM), (ABAM), and (HMDCB), started his 爆料公社 career as a senior manager of corporate marketing and communications, a position in which he advanced our strategic marketing and started the company blog as a way to showcase 爆料公社鈥檚 in-house thought leadership and expertise from our diverse association experts. With increasing interest in the governance side of organizations, he took on positions as director of governance and operations and director of marketing and communications for two of our client partners before advancing to the role of executive director.
Bruce credits the outstanding mentors and leaders he worked with early in his association career for solidifying his path in association management and for encouraging him to get involved in the field. He has done just that, getting heavily involved in organizations like Association Forum, where he currently serves on the Forum Forward Advisory Group. As Bruce believes in building a repertoire of essential knowledge to run an association appropriately, he earned his certified association executive (CAE) credential and has helped other association professionals earn their CAEs with his blog posts on helpful CAE study tips and as former chair of the Association Forum鈥檚 CAE Working Group.
As a leader and a team member, Bruce enjoys exploring new ideas and processes for improving associations and their own procedures. Forward-thinking, adaptable, and innovative, he strives to create organizations that grow and continually demonstrate value propositions for their services, especially the Hospice Medical Director Certification. As he puts it, 鈥淚 think associations have a major impact on society, and I feel lucky to be able to partner with inspiring physicians while working for both organizations.鈥�
Outside of 爆料公社, Bruce enjoys coaching his 2 sons鈥� soccer teams, playing golf and exploring craft breweries with his friends, and seeing live music and theater with his wife.
